Part 2

I found this SS10 collection whilst pottering around Toronto. Rita Leifhebber - stylist/model/fashion editor turned designer - understands the importance of being unique and making an impact.

For her second collection she staged a pop-up fashion show out of the back of a truck on the street in Toronto. She used 9 models standing between mannequins made of plastic wrap hanging from the ceiling. Industrial lighting was used on one side and a video was screen at the other end of the truck.

A moving fashion/art installation, low budget, tiny carbon footprint... what more could you want?? Perhaps the collection....
